SMK - the national gallery of Denmark - is the largest art museum in the country. The museum is located in the green museum district in central Copenhagen. Our unique architectural and aesthetical frames invites for inspirational events and creative discovery. At SMK you can create big and small dinners, fashion shows, product launches, conferences, award shows, film recordings and photo shoots, corporate events, and receptions. Include the art
Centrally located in Copenhagen and in a world of outstanding works of art from the 1300s to today, is where you will find SMK. We have many ideas and suggestions on how artistic elements can be tailored to individual events. We recommend a visit to the exhibitions with our skilled art guides, or to try your hand using the creative tools in the Workshop.
Catering by Kafeteria
Catering is by the Copenhagen-based chef and restaurateur Frederik Bille Brahe. Daily he runs SMK’s museum café Kafeteria and for events, Kafeteria Banquet presents tailored menus for your event or meeting. With a special focus on sustainability, Kafeteria Banquet delivers half-day and full-day conference packages, reception menus, gala menus, family-style menus, and food trucks. Technical requirements?
We co-operate with top professionals within sound, lighting and streaming. Our partners can create facade lighting, spectacular light decoration, and add volume to your entertainment, as well as executing hybrid events in our different locations. Please contact us for further information.
