Lago is latin for lake, and our menu reflects our love of fresh produce from the oceans surrounding Denmark.
Our menu is based on a zero waste philosophy, where all ingredients are thought of in a circular way – from kitchen to bar and from bar to kitchen. Surpluses from the kitchen become new flavorings in our cocktails, and elements from the bar are integrated into the dishes. This not only results in less waste, but also deep, surprising and harmonious flavor combinations.
For each item on the menu, we offer cocktail pairings that are developed to elevate and enhance the dining experience. An evening at Lago is therefore not just a dinner – it is a sensory journey where food and drink comes together.
At Lago, half the tables are regular height and half are high tables. This creates a vibrant, casual atmosphere, where you can take a seat with view of the water, or sit by the bar and get an insight in mixology - the art of mixing cocktails.
Outside we have a deck with a terrasse where you can enjoy a cold glass with a calming view of the lakes, where the locals enjoy a jog or take a walk with friends on a lunch break. It doesn't get more Copenhagen than this.
