The Hangar opened in 2021 with 2500 sqm. and space for up to 2150 people, 5 Cessna planes or 25 cars! This is an incredibly flexible space that can be divided into five separate sections for up to 400 people in each. The congress foyer, with it's 1600 square meters, is ideal for coffee breaks, exhibitions, poster sessions or anything else you can dream of.
The Hangar is operated by Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport and for large events the rooms and meeting rooms at Comfort Hotel Copenhagen Airport can also be included. This means that you have 66.000 sqm. where you can unfold the events of your dreams. In total we offer 33 meeting rooms, a ballroom, The Hangar and 988 rooms.

The Hangar is located below the newly built Comfort Hotel Copenhagen Airport.
The building lives up to the highest standards for new Danish Buildings (BK2020) and has a lot of great solutions to be more energy efficient. For example, we have added solar power cells to the roof which creates energy that is being used in our ventilation system, and surplus heat from our refrigeration equipment is being used to heat the water in our hot water tank.
We offer catering with special consideration to the environment including a lot of delicious, green options.
All Nordic Choice Hotels are ISO 14001 certified. This means we continously work to minimize our footprint and become more sustainable by e.g. reducing water and power consumption and replacing chemicals with more environment friendly solutions.

Scandic CPH Strandpark is located between the city and the beach with views
of both Copenhagen, Øresund and the airport. The area offers a wide variety of
outdoor recreational activities, and the city center can be reached by metro in
only 12 minutes. Copenhagen Airport is only one metro stop away.
Whether you are a business traveler participating in a meeting or enjoying a few
vacation days away from home, you will feel comfortable at Scandic CPH Strandpark.
Inside the hotel is a warm and cozy atmosphere with interiors and materials that
have been inspired by the beach and the sea. The hotel offers many small areas
where you can work or hold an informal meeting. In the spa, you can swim in the
