BREMEN TEATER (644 seated main room and 450 foyer)
The Bremen Teater, an anchor in Copenhagen’s cultural scene, has been hosting diverse entertainment forms since 2009 when some of the most well-known Danish comedians and promoters took ovr the venue that has hosted a theater and cinema back in the day. The venue is known for being the hot spot for Danish and International comedy but also present concerts, talks, film documentaries, award shows and much more. Futhermore Bremen Teater also holds one of the most popular night clubs, Natbar, a +23 club that has had a leading position in Copenhagen night life since 2012.
Retaining its original charm with PH-seats and original lamps, the theater's main room accommodates updated lighting and air conditioning. The theater is ideal for extensive presentations and events. Adjacent to the theater is a spacious open area equipped with two bars, seating, and a DJ booth with a mixing table compatible with both vinyl and digital music sources. Through the varied use of Kolme in the daily accompanied by the connectedness to Bremen Teater, makes us able to accommodate costume made flexible solutions to fit the requests of your event.
KOLME (café, bar, restaurant, meeting room / private dining - 250 pax up stairs and 3 meeting rooms (15, 25, 45 pax)
In November 2022 Kolme opened its doors offering a space to host meetings, savor cocktails, and indulge in tapas amidst elegant surroundings. Playful wallpapers, carpenter made furniture, and Danish design lamps greets guests in this venue. The area spans two floors: A large open space on the ground floor (250 pax / 150 seated) which houses the main bar, and three distinctively styled meeting rooms on the lower level. (15 pax, 25 pax and 45 pax) Far from the typical white box, each room has its unique style designed to engage and stimulate attendees. The lower level also boasts a private bar to ensure guests aren't disturbed by others. All roooms have air conditining and access to AV.
Kolme also features a DJ booth and possibility of creating a dance floor area. Guests can either hire a DJ—which we're happy to assist with—or opt to play their own music, be it live through a band or via a premade playlist. Throughout the day, we serve espresso coffee, baked goods and small dishes. Come evening, our bar offers cocktails and craft beer sourced from local Danish breweries such as Anarkist and Kissmeyer. Kolme offers free WiFi.
Nestled next to the renowned Bremen Teater, Kolme's location provides the added advantage of enjoying shows, lectures, and concerts in the evening.
HOTEL CECIL (music venue in center of Copenhagen - 350 pax concert room and 160 up stairs bar area)
Hotel Cecil is our musically focused venue in the heart of Copenhagen situated next to the famous pedestrian zone Strøget. Cecil openened in February 2018 when the owners of Bremen Teater decided to open a concert venue in the old Copenhagen Jazzhouse building (1991-2017).
The venue, known in the music industry for being amongst the best smaller venues in Europe, presents both Danish and international artists and occasionally alsp other forms of entertainment such as comedy, movies, and live podcasts. The main room holds 350 people or 220 seated and is ideal for banquetst, presentations, etc.
During Friday night the venue transform to the night club Cecil AM that present both local and international DJs with a main focus on house and disco.
Like Kolme, the venue of Cecil spans two floors and the architecture and decor carry the influences of art deco. In combination with its signature dark green walls and beautiful brass lamps Hotel Cecil offers an extraordinary atmosphere solely found in this venue. There's a metro line only a 3 minutes walk from venue.
Our mission regarding all our venues prioritizes environmental sustainability. As such, we emphasize ecologically sourced food, coffee, beer, and wine. Focusing on incorporating local Danish distilleries and breweries minimizes the carbon footprint. Our venues' art and décor have been curated over the years, emphasizing pre-owned pieces. We prioritize recycling and do not use straws in our drinks.
Inclusion and social sustainability are of the outmost importance for us, and respect for both guests and personnel are key values. We offer a female self-defense course for our staff, where they can learn verbal defense against sexist or violent behavior amongst guests.
The building that holds Bremen and Kolme, is owned by PenSam and sustainabillity is a strong and important part of their visions and strategy.
