Bernstorff Palace is outstanding. It is a protected, historical building from 1765, where the Royal Family, headed by King Christian IX and Queen Louise, used to spend their summer holidays from mid 1800 to the end of the century.
It is surrounded by a vast, romantic landscape park of over 600.000 square meters. The meeting rooms are absolutely perfect for gatherings, were the number of participants ranges from a handful to approximately 100.
Four meeting rooms on the first floor of the main building can accommodate up to 14-16 delegates each, with adjacent small and cozy break-out rooms.
One room on the ground floor, the original Royal dining room, with gold guilded wall frames and lovely art works dating back to 1765, is a preferred location for meetings and conferences for up to 18 – 40 delegates, depending on the chair and table configuration.
All rooms offer a beautiful view to the park, daylight floods in through the high windows and even though the ambience is quite noble, the whole atmosphere is friendly and easy going, due to the staff members, who greet and treat the guests with a straight forward kind of attitude.
Should you require more space, Bernstorff Palace is able to cater for up to 50 guests in the plenary room VOGNPORTEN and up to 100 guests in KAVALERSALEN. Both these rooms are equipped with modern technical applications and are located in the original horse guard quarters, a few steps away from the main building.
Bernstorff Palace holds 23 hotel rooms, where guests are welcome to stay even if they do not attend a meeting at the palace.
The restaurant of the palace is in the main building. Imagine beautiful dining rooms with a lovely view to the park and the terrace. The kitchen is tasty and everything is homemade, with many organic ingredients. The restaurant is exclusively open for prebooked conferences and functions, however on Sundays the palace offers an opulent brunch for private guests, by reservations only.
The staff is known for their warmth and friendliness, and we promise that everybody feels welcome in this palace, where the historical heritage forms the backdrop of meetings and conferences.
