Copenhagen Bicycles is a family business that has been supplying bicycles to hotels and groups, including conferences, for twenty years. We have approximately 1500 bicycles, of which 1000 are at the Copenhagen hotels.
The company is owned by Yael Bassan, who took over after her father’s sudden death in 2015. Copenhagen Bicycles consists of 37.5% women, of which 40% of our bicycle mechanic team are women.
We have high customer satisfaction and low employee turnover, and the most important thing for us is to make tourism greener, while having a great working life.
We have a collective agreement, have been doing ESG work since 2018 and have had an annual ESG report since last year. We have examined our value chain thoroughly to ensure that we can stand behind it. We are perfectionists, and we carefully select our bikes and partners to ensure that we deliver a solid and good product that also emits as little CO2 as possible.
