Our restaurant is located in a hidden basement in the middle of Store Kongensgade. This is where it all began. The very first Madklubben restaurant - build on the love for food and the wish to make great food experiences available for everyone. 

We celebrate the long and beloved history of Danish cooking but with a modern twist. That means - well-known classics with the little extra twist. 

Common for all of the dishes is that they are always made from ingredients in season - and are always made from scratch and developed by our headchef.

Even the interior of the restaurant if characterized by the long history of Danish design. All choices from colours to furniture has been made with great respect for the building the restaurant is in - which is more or less the definition of how the inner city looks - and has looked for the last several hundred years.
